What is SPC?
Students for Progressive Change is an organization devoted to giving a voice to youth to help them push for cultural, social, and educational based changes within Parkway. We work to push for a better Parkway for the current classes as well as those to come.

Some things we are currently working on surround policy changes and the implementation of new programs in order to build the environment we are currently seeking. For example, we have already enacted programs such as Holidays in Parkway and an independent film day to educate students in Parkway.

SPC student members all bring their unique voice to the table but we always want more people to be apart of the conversation. Teachers are also welcome to promote SPC's activities in class or talk to a student leader about how to help at that time.
Why is SPC so important?There have been multitudes of research and data that proves that our LGBTQ, disabled and racial minority are at a constant disadvantage. While all of this research can be overwhelming SPC is trying to help parkway become a school of the future and move it forward.
